As part of a nationwide regulatory effort, cultural authorities recently launched a “double-random, one-open” inspection initiative targeting the online gaming market. Under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, enforcement teams in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou conducted synchronized spot checks on online game operators.
